“Royal Treat”. The Duchess of Bedford introduced afternoon tea around the 1840’s, when she would become hungry around four o’clock in the afternoon. To shorten the time between lunch and late dinner a selection of teas and light snacks and sandwiches were served. It pleased her so much that it became a habit of hers and eventually many fellow countrymen would follow her idea.
The story has inspired our Chef de Cuisine to compose a contemporary version of High Tea, where tradition, fresh products and an international selection of teas offer you a relaxing afternoon with a royal touch. For starter we recommend a bubbling Prosecco or a classy glass of Champagne. While serving the tea your host will be delighted to tell you about the origin of the teas and its combinations with the food served.
Service time
We serve the High Tea daily between 1pm to 3pm, by reservation only. Allow yourself to relax, be surprised by fragrant teas combined with delicacies and book now!

Reserve High Tea
Due to the preparations, you must reserve 24 hours in advance for the High Tea at La Terrasse. When you make a reservation for one of the High Teas at La Terrasse, you pay a deposit of 100% of the total amount. The total deposit will be deducted from the final bill. The reservation is not valid when the deposit is not paid.
Make your reservation step-by-step
1. Click on ‘Book a table’ via the reservationtool at the bottom right
2. Select the ‘number of people’, date’ and “time”.
(Please note that the date/time is at least 24 hours in advance and the start time is between 1pm to 3pm)
3. Select the desired High Tea
4. Click ‘proceed to checkout’ and continue through the steps.
